The M^0 brand is bold and ambitious. It represents the new era of open, decentralized, interoperable money technology.

M^0 (read "M ZERO") alludes to the measurement of money supply and the introduction of a new foundational layer. The caret symbol ^ is a reference to its use in mathematics and computer programming as representing exponentiation: M^0 can also mean "M to the power of 0". Quite clearly, any number raised to the power of zero equals 1, which is not a coincidence. The number one represents uniqueness, singleness - an attribute particularly important for good quality money.
